Fuzzy Logic- Slaves

Another poster of the summer was for the Slaves DJ Set for this upcoming October. I took the more formalised way of laying out the poster from before, and can see this as a running theme for the posters if I continue to make them for them.

This is one of my favourite posters I've made so far. I like the contrast of the black (that was suggested against in the first poster) and I managed to keep the imagery simple but something I feel fits in my 'tone of voice'

Fuzzy Logic summer 2015

This summer I have continued my work for the local nightclub Wire and their Thursday indie night Fuzzy Logic

The first poster I made was for their A-level results party. I was quite pleased with this. I put more effort into thinking about shape and type. I think the finished poster looks fun and suggests celebration and music.

I continued with this mindset for this poster, and thought the outcome was ok.

I had created this set of illustrations with the approval of the team but they changed their mind, and wanted something darker and less character based. I can't say that I preferred this way of working at first, but it was a challenge I enjoyed.

This brought up a few issues in regards to my payments. As I had completed the first illustrations with approval on sketches and roughs I reasonably asked for payment for both sets I had completed, to which they agreed. It was a little stressful remaking the posters but remembering to keep your head is essential!

It is not useful to get stressed!
